When choosing a weight loss diet  it's not only important to choose one that fits your lifestyle it's also crucial to choose a diet plan that allows you to lose weight while encouraging you to eat a healthy diet ,which in turn leads to Healthy Weight Loss. Most of us have tried a diet plan, dozens of them , only to find that we end up regaining the weight we lost  plus a few pounds. Many times, the problem is that we've chosen the wrong weight loss diet. The first key to losing body fat and gaining muscle is creating a diet that burns slightly more calories than consumed. For optimal results consult with a registered dietician so that an individualized meal plan will be developed to meet your specific nutritional and lifestyle needs

For a quick fix, I found that following a high-protein, very low carb diet such as the Atkins Diet, for two to four weeks, works. I don't recommend for anyone to continue it for more than four weeks for a quick 'weight loss to achieve a flatter tummy' fix.
